This Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to satisfy OSHA training requirements for employees who may be potentially exposed to blood or bodily fluids. Content includes an overview of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards, an overview of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV, Control Measures, and what to do in the event of an exposure.
This course provides a foundational understanding of the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and the use of control measures to mitigate the hazards of exposure. It is ideal for Part 135 pilots and maintenance crewmembers of medical transport operators who may come in contact with contaminated sharps in aircraft used for medical transport.
