Description

Our ADS-B Overview course ensures pilots develop a working understanding of their ADS-B equipment, including its proper use in compliance with regulatory requirements, the services it offers, and strategies for avoiding common human factors errors associated with ADS-B.

This course covers a wide array of critical ADS-B topics including ADS-B installation and performance requirements, operations outside the U.S., and an overview of flight IDs, emergency codes, and abnormal operations. Participants will also learn about available ADS-B In-Services, traffic symbols, and how to execute ADS-B In-Trail procedures and CAVS with confidence. The course also emphasizes the human factors associated with ADS-B, fostering greater awareness to minimize potential errors.

For Part 135, Part 125, and Part 91 pilot training, our ADS-B Overview course provides a foundation of knowledge and understanding for flight crews to ensure proper use of the ADS-B system.
