Description

Our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) course includes three comprehensive tutorials that address general personal protective equipment, respiratory protection equipment, and fall protection systems.

The General Personal Protective Equipment tutorial introduces users to various types of PPE and their uses, including eye and face protection, as well as head, foot, and hand protection. It emphasizes the importance of wearing PPE correctly and understanding the limitations of PPE to ensure personnel safety. The course also covers proper care and storage to maintain the equipment’s integrity.

In the Respiratory Protection tutorial, participants will learn about different types of respirators, their proper use and fitting, as well as essential practices for inspection, maintenance, and storage. This ensures that the respiratory equipment functions effectively when needed.

The Fall Protection tutorial provides a thorough overview of fall protection systems, teaching participants about proper use and the critical aspects of these systems. Each tutorial is designed to equip users with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use PPE in various settings, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle potential hazards in their work environment.

This continuing education activity is approved by the FAA for 2hrs of Inspection Authorization (IA) Refresher training.
