Wire Strikes Prevention
CTS has expanded our training program to feature training by adding a new Wire Strikes Prevention subject. This course is geared toward pilots and crew members who fly near wires and wire structures.
Wire Strikes Prevention includes a tutorial with interactive elements, a written lesson, and an exam. Upon completing this course, users will be able to recognize the hazards posed by wires in low-level flight, understand the basic utility infrastructure, locate information regarding documented lines, and identify methods to mitigate wire strikes through pre-flight planning, CRM, and technology.
