CTS has completed a TSA TFSSP Training update to better align our content with the training guidance in the TFSSP and provide updates through Change 15 of the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program.
About our TSA TFSSP Training Program
Our TSA Twelve-Five SSP course provides specialized training in all required aspects of the 12-5 security program for ISC and GSC personnel.
Training content includes coverage of the following topics:
- International security requirements
- All-cargo security requirements
- NTAS advisories and additional security measures
- Passenger ID requirements
- Crewmember authorization
- Jumpseat access
- ID media training
- Sensitive security information
- Insider threat awareness
- Unruly and disruptive passengers
- Aircraft search and sealing procedures
- Area and aircraft security
- Security incident response procedures
- Acceptance, screening, and control of cargo
Courses are available for the following personnel:
- Ground Security Coordinator (GSC), All-Cargo
- Ground Security Coordinator (GSC)
- In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC)
- GSC-ISC, All-Cargo
- GSC-ISC
Are you a 12-5 operator?
Operators subject to the Aviation and Transportation Security Act that are required to have a 12-5 Standard Security program include air carriers and commercial operators holding an operating certificate under 14 CFR part 119, including parts 121, 125, or 135 who conduct any of the following operations:
- Carrying passengers or cargo (or both) in aircraft with a maximum certified takeoff weight of more than 12,500 pounds, up to and including 45,500 kilograms (100,309.3 pounds)
- Within the U.S.
- From the U.S. to a non-U.S. location (including intermediate stops)
- From a non-U.S. location to the U.S (including intermediate stops)
- From a non-U.S. location to a non-U.S. location
